May29 , 2020 NISHIKI CUSTOM SPORT 62 cm Maroon matte finish! Not stock original I put this together about 14 years ago, and have rebuilt it twice since then. PLEASE CALL BEFORE bUYING/OFFERING If you don't i know you have not read this ad!! this is a Tall Road bike, with a somewhat longer than usual top tube too! CHROMOLYBEDNUM STEEL FRAMESET!! Year i am GUESSING: 1979?? surely 75-82 Scuffed up a bit, but structure Great, and rides SMOOOTH, Very little or not rust/ Completely not an accident that it rides smoother than new!!! This is On purpose Smooth riding is not an observation, it is an imperative! we control this. Mostly Made in Japan! Internals(cones/spindles) Healthy, not overly worn, this is first hand observation NOT a guess! Aluminum rims/hubs 27" x 1-1/4" tires hold well, tad dry OPTION New tires available at modest prices! OPTION Grips, Bottle holder, many other options...call me - - - - HISTORY - - - - Bought frameset in about 2008 from an Elderly  collector in Ohio Neck, Handlebars, Wheels, not original. I built this up in 2011, with new rear wheel, and solid parts from 1970s-80s. This CroMo Japanese  frameset i ESTIMATE in from Late 1970s to early 80s. All Big Balls(Hubs, Bottom bracket) changed twice between 2012 and 2016 in Lansing, MI. Use grade 25 balls only. Threw away the New balls in the rear wheel to ensure that the balls would be high grade(25)!! IN between  i rented to a couple of university grad students who really enjoyed the bike. SO , this has been mechanically rebuilt by me TWICE, the last time being 4 years ago, and has seen maybe 20 miles testing since then!! Kept indoors climate controlled always since i have had it.
